We built this deck around the existing line of the home, turning a narrow side return into a more usable outdoor space. The frame was set out to work around the established tree, with the finished boards wrapping cleanly through the area.
We created a raised deck off the covered alfresco, with wide cascading steps to make the level change feel intentional. The result is a cleaner transition from the living area to the yard.
